ALSO: I forgot to mention this. The scoring loop for start/finish line is a few feet behind the line. Normally it's not an issue on some random lap during the race, obviously. But they use the high speed camera to determine the end of stages and the end of the race if it's close.…

And here’s a closer look at the cameras that digitally determine the line (and their view). This is exact same technology that was used at the Kentucky Derby yesterday.
