A massive shout out to the heroic Ppl with Disabilities, Carers, Grassroots orgs & actual human rights activists for this win. The Green Paper was causing enormous fear, anxiety & stress to ppl who are already fighting every day to live independent & private lives.

FLAC welcomes this positive decision and the establishment of a Cabinet Sub-Committee on Disability. Ireland lacks strong disability rights legislation and a programme of disability law reform is needed to address this.
