Last night, the Hillingdon Conservatives passed through their council budget.

It was based on cuts to services and increased costs for working people.

Hillingdon Labour proposed amendments, but the Conservatives rejected them.

Despite record number of cuts to services, Cabinet Member for Finance says he can't see 'cuts'.

Cllr Burles motion to save Uxbridge Library voted down by Conservative Administration.
They said his motion was flawed as it used the word 'proposal' and as a decision has not been made, there are no proposals.
Hillingdon Council own press refers to plans as proposal.
