When someone has been the victim of a burglary, they deserve a swift response from the police.

Yet thanks to years of Conservatives' ineffective resourcing of local police forces, this is increasingly out of reach.

The British public deserves so much better than this.

It is time for this Conservative government to finally deal with their disgraceful sewage scandal and declare a national environmental emergency.
