Partisan outlets like a political viewpoint, but they love that viewpoint's audience. And in an election year, 'mostly peaceful' not only doesn't rivet the normal American, the unrest is bad for incumbents.

Details matter, but until the parties have made their choices on candidates for the House, we can only take a guess baed on past results. It's looking like another razor-thin majority, in either direction.
