In 2014 Tory controlled Norfolk CC wasted £33.7m when they abandoned an incinerator project in Kings Lynn
In 2024 they have wasted £47m on the road which was never going anywhere. Now they blame & threaten disabled residents to raise £1.2m as they are desperate for funds!

Social care has just been knocked about as an issue for far too long.

So I'm calling on the other parties to put in their manifestos – all of us– that we will take part in cross-party talks after the election for a cross-party agreement on social care.

Those in Norwich who rely on the Minimum Income Guarantee will be hit hard by Tory-run Norfolk County Council's cuts.

To make matters worse the Govt told me they haven't bothered looking at how the level of MIG affects disabled people's quality of life, and don't plan to either.

It’s absolutely clear that NO LA is above the law and no consultation or reason supersedes this. Discrimination of the most vulnerable, disabled residents is unlawful. Use the extra funding the Gov. designated for ASC as prescribed. We in Norfolk do not trust your consultation.
