Setting a new course record (held since 2002) in the Men’s Half Marathon was Cameron Levins (Portland, OR) in a time of 1:01:18. Coming in second was Trevor Hofbauer (Kelowna, BC) in 1:04:07, followed by Kip Kangogo (Lethbridge, AB) in 1:07:46.

I really underestimated how significant the travel is to and from the event and so my coach and I decided it wasn’t ideal in our build-up to the NYC marathon. Good luck to our Canadians still competing there!
