Since joining THLAS Handwritten Letter , I notice letter boxes a lot more 🙂 Saw this today about our post office that disappeared a while back, the post box as you can see has died a death. 🫤 Thankfully the co-op shop carried it on so we at least have one in the village. 👍

For anyone who who has seen the movie 'Pay It Forward', I once did the maths and worked out if each person did a kind thing to three different people, and so on and so on, in 21 levels you'd have covered the entire population the world. Now do that with handwritten letters. 🙂

If I could suggest one thing to do today, it would be to write a letter to someone. It doesn't matter if it's on the finest stationary in the land with luxurious inks, or on a scrap of paper with a pencil...I promise you, you will make someone's day.❤️

Going to bed thankful for the readers, the writers, the crafters and artists, the animal lovers and plant growers...and those who just like peace and quiet. You make the difference between a person staying happy on here, or becoming hateful due to the content on X right now. ❤️

Does any one in the land of X have any idea where I can get an idea of the history of this kind of letter opener? It says 'K knife', it's gold filled and it's retractable. I bought it a few years ago in a charity shop for £2, lost it in the house, then just found it again. 🙂

Just a reminder that little ones love receiving handwritten letters and postcards too 👍. Royal Mail have some great postcards and stamps at the moment. My 80yr old mother in law loved the Optimus Prime one when I could find my nicer ones 😁.

Question for the book readers...what do you think of writing messages in the front of a book that's a gift, especially if it's a limited edition out of 400 copies? Do you think it ruins it, or does it not really matter if the friend is going to keep it? #booklovers #BookTwitter
