Many local charities & social enterprises chose not to furlough staff to be able to help communities through the crisis - even though fundraising & income generation dried up overnight. They're now going to miss out on the 'job retention bonus' for doing the right thing. 1/2

I was thrilled this morning to see a gentleman that I remember being formerly homeless now working as a security guard at one of the shops in town. He is not only employed but housed - and looking incredibly happy. A life transformed. This is our goal for everyone we work with.
