SB 908 is part of the Senate's #SaferCA Plan which provides the evidence-based, balanced approach to fighting substance use disorder, preventing fentanyl overdoses & curbing retail theft. Together, we’re making #CaliforniaSafer  & healthier for all who call the Golden State home.

Prompted by the tragic news stories of infants dying from fentanyl poisoning, I introduced SB 908 to strengthen California’s public health response and prevent more young children from being exposed to opioids. SB 908 has passed the Senate & now heads to the Assembly #SaferCA
