Meet Tina Enders 🇩🇪, scientist co-leading the collection of sediments along the European coastline, she is in charge of preparing equipment & sampling at the #EMBLtrec stops.

With a PhD in marine microbiology, she’s an expert in collecting, processing & analysing field samples.

Latest research from Jamie Hackett , Michael Zimmermann Lab & Bork Group at EMBL Heidelberg out today in nature defining a regulatory “gut-germline” axis. This research shows the impact of the male gut microbiota on the health of future offspring.

EMBL representatives welcomed the Executive Board of the German national party CDU for a tour of the Heidelberg campus.

The party leaders visited the EMBL Imaging Centre & the exhibition “The World of Molecular Biology”, and discussed a broad range of scientific topics.

At the end of a busy year, we are on a retreat in #Strasbourg for a few days of brainstorming, team-building fun, scientific discussions across the many topics we're working on, and of course to enjoy the Christmas market and the sights.
