Since arriving in Mexico, we’ve hit the ground running, building relationships that’ll serve Arizona for years. Today’s meeting with Ambassadors, CEOs & other leaders make me confident that we’ll leave this trip more prepared to take advantage of future opportunities between us.

With more than $19 billion in total trade, Mexico is Arizona’s largest trading partner by far. We’ve been pleased to discuss areas of expanded opportunity such as e-commerce, semiconductors, renewable energy and more at business meetings and industry panels led by Governor Katie Hobbs.

Arizona and Mexico share more than just a physical border – we share a decades-long partnership that spans across industries.

A fantastic session in Mexico City with Arizona & Sonora highlighting the achievements of the Arizona-Sonora Border Infrastructure Master Plan, at the Joint Working Committee. It is through these continued collaborations that we drive positive change in our region!

The AMC was proudly represented at Binational Bridges and Border Crossings meeting in Tijuana. Working with leaders from Arizona, Sonora and SIDUR to plan and advance on infrastructure that will shape our region for generations to come.
