It’s official: US$533m in funding announced.

The Commonwealth Government announced ARU received support to progress the Nolans Project through a US$533m finance package.

Arafura has executed gas supply agreements (GSAs) with Mereenie field JV partners Central Petroleum, Cue Energy, Macquarie Mereenie and New Zealand Oil & Gas.

The GSAs are dependent on several conditions precedent being satisfied by 30/6/24.

Arafura has signed a binding offtake agreement with wind turbine manufacturer Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy for up to 400tpa of NdPr metal over five years.

Nolans Project’s Mining Management Plan (MMP) approved by the Northern Territory Government.✅

The approval puts Arafura one step closer towards achieving FID.

Arafura has executed a binding offtake agreement with Hyundai and Kia.

The agreement supplies up to 1,500 tonnes per annum of NdPr over a 7-year period.

We have also signed a non-binding HoA for potential strategic investment by Hyundai and its affiliates.

Gavin Lockyer will be presenting at the Mineral Sands and Rare Earth Conference on 22/11.

The conference will bring together industry figures to discuss the growing needs for rare earths and other minerals in high-tech applications.

We recently engaged with local Alice Springs company Ekistica to deploy a SODAR unit at our Nolans Project which measures on-site wind speed and direction.

Data gathered by the unit will help determine whether wind turbines would be a viable source of renewable energy.

Arafura’s ESG Manager, Michael Robinson, will be presenting at the Environmental Management & Decarbonisation Forum this week.

The Forum aims to bring environmental practitioners together to share environmental innovations.
