$9.3 billion surplus and almost every public school in Australia is underfunded, while enrolling the vast majority of the neediest & so most expensive to teach students. This is a long term disaster for this country.

The 2024 federal budget has failed to deliver full funding for public schools.

Without full funding, schools will be denied the resources they need to provide a high quality education to all students.
