This is not “complementing” doctors.

This is a full service restructure to implement the replacement of fully qualified doctors with MAPs.

This is dangerous to patients and exposes the remaining doctors to heightened workload and regulatory risk.

Only fully qualified surgeons, and those training to become one, should be performing surgery.

The biggest mistake we could all make with the Post Office is to think it is not happening anywhere else in the public sector in legal cases.

I'm not a consultant surgeon and can't replace them, as I have different knowledge, skills and expertise. A lot less of all three, actually. But I prefer not to say less, as that would be politically embarrassing for me and might unnerve the public. So I say different instead.

It’s good to see the BBC reporting on this.

Whilst pay restoration remains by far and away the No.1 issue for doctors.

it is endemic, apparently: not one judge in the ET even investigated 2015 - 2022!!!
