Working 6m Aurora with 100w and a 3el yagi from EN91

Thought this would be a fun addition to the plane white box.. At least I’ll be able to shine a light and see the reflection of it on the tower 😂

Preliminary testing of the 10ghz beacon.
Heard locally around town.
Beacon is approx 6 foot above ground at the moment.
Everything seems to be running solid. Time to tidy up wiring.

10Ghz Rain scatter action with WA3PZQ and his ic905 with 500mW on 10Ghz worked 3 rain scatter QSOs N8IUP, K8ZR & VE3KH. Also picked up a beacon that was 200mW into a 12dB slot west of Toronto 276 Km away.

Got these in today. Waiting on another confirmed QSO then I’ll have 15 confirmed hopefully soon. It’s been a blast working 10Ghz the last few years. I think it’s the real magic band 😉
