Labour Candidates going out of their way to emphasise Natalie Elphicke will not be Dover's MP after the election.

Clearly disquiet at the defection here, and not just from the hard left.

At today a very muddled and confused performance by Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer.

A strong reminder that all the opposition offer is a Lib/Lab/SNP coalition of chaos that would take our country backwards on Brexit and break up the United Kingdom.

Labour leaderโ€™s latest relaunch completely ignored the small boats crisis. Here it is in numbers:

๐Ÿ›ถ 45,756 people

๐Ÿ›ถ 1,104 boats

๐Ÿ›ถ ยฃ1.3 billion+ a year

Boats, what boats?

Another reminder Labour have time and again opposed action to tackle the Channel crossings.

This has been one of the best Parliaments in which to be poor in the last half century.

And the worst Parliament in which to be well off.

The country has become far more equal, thanks to average living standards falling. Those who prize equality over wealth should love it.
