As a former prosecutor, I agree with Trump allies that a trial can take a large physical toll on an elderly defendant. Trump is already having difficulty and fell asleep twice.

But you know what takes an even larger physical toll on an individual? Being leader of the free world.

The law in Arizona is now a near total ban on abortion.

Kari Lake and Republican Members of Congress supported the elimination of Roe v. Wade, which allowed Arizona to ban abortion.

Democrat Ruben Gallego will vote to codify Roe v. Wade.

Good news

I think the hype over AGI is overblown.

1. Humans routinely ignore the smartest person in the room. That can be a good thing.

2. Can AGI tell you how to make the Browns win the Super Bowl? No.

3. Can AGI tell you if Putin will launch nukes if we give Ukraine ATACMS? No.

Technology already surpasses human intelligence in many areas. Calculators do math functions better than humans.

But here’s the reason I’m not overly concerned about AGI. We humans routinely ignore the smartest person in the room. AGI will just be another opinion we consider.
