I've been following this guy's journey since day 1 and the sheer perseverance is so commendable.

The best way to stop struggling with CSS is to pick a random (modern) well-known company's landing page and replicate it to pixel-perfection. Just one. That'll get you into the flow state for building UI.

General rule of thumb:

Store tokens in cookies + JS memory, not localstorage.

Store user IDs and stuff using context api, or use redux (or jotai or zustand) if you plan to manage a very complex global state.

Insane how easy it gets after the first phase of extreme deep work.

After a point, in MANY cases, it's just - 'oh let me try building this older, fairly complex project of mine with this new piece of tech I've just discovered'.
