Really great to be at the Sport4Health Community Sports Festival in St Gabriel’s with The Lord Mayor of Westminster and Cllr Robert Eagleton. The tournament makes such a fantastic contribution to our local community and we are very happy to support.

Enjoyed our discussions in Geneva, Hanan Mohamed Al Kuwari, Minister وزارة الصحة العامة, planning next steps and collaboration on #Sport4Health .

We also discussed the importance of primary health care, need for a strong #PandemicAccord & 🇶🇦's chairing of the next World Health Organization (WHO) Executive Board.

This action guide builds on the successful experience gained at the #QatarWorldCup2022 and represents a powerful model for future sports events in their fight against #overweight , #obesity and diet-related #NCDs .

The publication has been developed in collaboration with وزارة الصحة العامة for sports event organizers. It can be used by governments, local authorities & sports stadia managers to create healthy public food procurement & service policies for sports settings.

Pleased to forge a strategic partnership with Witold Bańka to promote #Sport4Health . Our new collaboration will not only unite World Health Organization (WHO)'s and WADA's strengths to help sports to play fair but also leverage the power of sports to help people lead healthy lives.

Last month, our team was in Basse to promote 'Sports for Health' initiative, a multi-sectoral proposal supported by WHO Gambia that seeks to advance better health outcomes thru increased physical activity among the #Gambia 's young population.
