Train I got to London ended early so everyone had to get on a busy LNER one. Everyone looking for seats and this boomer is just side eyeing everyone with a rucksack and handbag on seat next to her. I asked “did you buy tickets for both seats?” and got a seat instantly.

The LNER wanted to keep No. 13 around so bad after 1923, and yet they didn’t bother to put her in the museum alongside City of Truro in 1931. Shame they never thought of that…

A rather rare sight to see at Edinburgh this afternoon. I don’t think these are often up to Scotland so was really delighted to see them!

Disappointed to see the London North Eastern Railway bike holders don’t work with common bikes. A 700c wheel is too large to fit in the upper holder (it hits the ceiling), and a rim with any depth is too deep to fit either holder.

So our bikes are balanced precariously in the storage area.
