Our compiler team has done an incredible job, and the decision to build w/ #LLVM was an excellent one.

This is an under-appreciated area IMO. Improvements to the compiler are massively consequential for smart contracts (they can immediately lower deployment and usage costs).

I don't like to repeat myself. So when I started working on my CPU instruction interpreter I decided to write everything down as metadata within the library itself. This will be used to implement the interpreter, the assembler, the disassembler, and generate the LLVM .td files

mcyoung 🏳️‍🌈 Rust sort has a secret inling threshold of 'yes' you can turn on with '-Zcross-crate-inline-threshold=yes' and it definitely does something. Usually making things slower. But I do think a 'run LLVM to fixed point' would be fun.
