Maisara and I were flatmates in Leeds. We spend the covid lockdown together. When the lockdown ended, we went to Kirkstall Abbey and enjoyed sunshine after months of lockdown. Now I remember these days and I curse the occupation 100 times for killing Maisara and his family.

BOMB SQUAD called into Leeds waste recycling centre after suspicious package found

Large cordons were in place tonight around a popular retail complex along with a huge emergency response.

It follows the discovery of a package within the Kirkstall Recycling centre on Kirkstall

The Tetley, Leeds 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 1st visit since reopened by Kirkstall Brewery last week. Tetley's old head office. Has received K's usual treatment, eg. heritage Breweriana festooned on the walls. 6 cask lines, 8 craft keg, will be familiar to locals. Lots of outdoor seating for summer🍻👍

I led a group of #UoL students for a visit to Kirkstall 275/132kV substation hosted by #NorthernPowergrid . It is an 'electrically' authentic experience for students though strictly warned about electrocution. I have asked them to write a reflection in #PebblePad . They love it.

Morning run to Kirkstall Valley Nature Reserve. The orchard blossom is looking superb, as are the community orchards in Burley Park Friends.

And look at the Hawthorn! The time for casting clouts is upon us :)

The Black Bull pub at Horsforth, Leeds was known to exist in 1834. In 1654 Walter Stanhope whose father was part owner of Kirkstall Abbey built a cottage here.
By 1758 John Lapish opened a brewhouse here which eventually became a public house. /1
