Had a lovely letter today from Cancer Research UK. We moved back to Paignton recently, All our surplus “stuff” (inc. music CDs) went to our local Cancer Research UK shop, raised nearly £500, with a bonus to top this up from HMRC. Made my day. It’s worth donating your spare stuff!

Martin Lewis Pro B Tech Music Hi Martin Lewis - in my view it does fall under consumer protection. HMRC state the arrangements didn’t work (albeit about 2 decades later), so people who used them were mis-sold the financial product. They have no recourse to restitution due to time limits.

Grant I suggested a while ago that in light of the general laziness of cutting corners, it is likely that ALL the VIP Lane PPE Contracts are identical - which is why UK Gov 🇬🇧 scuttled investigations via a HMRC wind-up order & classify it as too 'commercially sensitive' to publish 🤔
