Quetzalcoatlus northropi is a Late Cretaceous pterosaur, which lived approximately 100.5 to 66 million years ago in North America. It is one of the largest flying animals in history, with a wingspan that could reach up to 52 feet (15.9 meters) and a size comparable to a giraffe.
