Warming up for some pulls (deadlifts).
We call it 'pulling,' but that's somewhat of a misnomer because you should be actually grabbing the bar and pressing away from the ground with your legs.

Old school Soviet wrestlers have been doing Zercher Deadlifts from the beginning.

But every time anyone does them now, all start talking about L4, L5 while never having done single rep. Don't do them. Don't care.

For selected few, it's essential compound movement for fighters.
