On Tuesday we had a fantastic couple of hours with Year 7 who performed their inter house dances 💃🏼 They have been working over 6 weeks on these and were amazing to watch! Well done to Tanners who won🥳 spinners who came 2nd and Clothworkers who came 3rd🎉 Miss Harris 📚

Man-Made Fibres by Mitzi Cunliff 🤲 Located high up on the Clothworkers’ Building South & made of Portland stone. Cunliffe was commissioned by the University of Leeds to create a piece which would reflect the exciting progress in the field of synthetic fibres in 1955 💚

The elegantly appointed Clothworkers Hall upholstered in Design 99, Adams Damask.
Woven on our 1920s punch-card operated Hattersley Jacquard loom in our most luxurious thread count of 14,400 threads. This archaic loom weaves cloth fit for palaces, but only manages 6 yards a day.

#OTD died Samuel Pepys - 26th May, 1703. Yesterday, a Service of Thanksgiving was held in the church in the presence of the Samuel Pepys Club. Pepys served as Master of both Trinity House and The Clothworkers' Company, and it was a joy to be joined by his present-day successors.

On Friday 26th April, the Marsyas Trio will be presenting an outstanding concert in the Clothworkers Centenary Concert Hall. The Marsyas Trio’s position as one of the UK's foremost mixed chamber ensembles equips the group with a unique musical outlook.
