jimbovelure Deanna Griffin Dr Alo, DO, FACC DCD-MK Jimmy Muthami The One and Only What do you mean? 5-15 years of progressively higher insulin levels leads to higher levels of blood glucose. The cause is debatable. The progression isn’t. If you have higher blood glucose, you can no longer manage carbohydrate intake.

The problem is that most people do not think of protein. Protein
does not even cross their mind.

With a meal that contains animal proteins, healthy fats, and low carbohydrate vegetables, you are giving your body all the macronutrients and minerals and vitamins it needs.

If you want a healthy low carbohydrate breakfast option, try an egg-avocado salad.

Remember we don’t need too many eggs in a week so this shouldn’t be daily.

Many folks will tell you that 'eating too many Calories', regardless of which macro, will cause type 2 diabetes.

Clearly, they haven't read this study which debunks their belief.

The recent discussions between Kevin Hall, Nick Norwitz PhD, & Adrian Soto-Mota on diet order & effects on weight loss & food intake are 👏

If you have high blood pressure and your doctor tells you to cut salt intake instead of reducing carbohydrate intake, they don’t understand the root cause of most cases of hypertension.

Salt intake ≠ Salt retention

Excess carb intake = Excess insulin = salt and water retention

Here's the real deal:

Our bodies have evolved to develop an amazing mechanism called Gluconeogenesis which allows us to convert both protein & fat to glucose at any time & therefore making carbohydrate an unnecessary macronutrient for periods of time.

However, our brains…
