Tensegrity is a structural concept where components under compression, like bars, don't touch, while tensioned members, such as cables, define the system's shape.
I can't decide if I like these or not. They solve the solution of cables on the pavement but by making drivers feel even more entitled to the space outside a house and if they have to park a couple of spaces over they can't charge the car or have to run an extension cord anyway.
