Thank you for joining me for tonight's #BuildHOPEedu .
Thank you for a sharing LOVE and HOPE!
Thank you for showing SUPPORT for EVERYONE!
A3 Everyone deserves to feel the love & warmth of a mother. Honour that sentiment in the classroom by bringing the spirit of care, concern, safety and love. Through stories, gifts, blankets, time to relax; channel the spirit of every mother for your students.

“A man who stands for nothing will fall for anything.”
— Malcolm X

Together, building a better world for everyone!
A4 Whether students have a mom, we talk about a mother figure. We know it can be a mom, a friend, neighbour, family member, who takes the role, who nurtures and helps. A mom can be so many, and it is important to use a vacabulary that encompasses many realities.
#BuildHOPEedu
Q4 How do you ensure inclusivity for all students when talking about a mother's support and love, knowing that not all students have that figure in their lives?
#BuildHOPEedu
A4: Some Ss I've taught have unstable home lives, divorced parents, live in foster care, and more. Not everyone is fortunate enough to grow up with a loving, close relationship with both biological parents. So I'll refer to a guardian or trusted adult.

A2 I make sure that the work I do focuses on making a difference in the life of others. No matter the class, we see how we can tie our learning to the community and creating change, while sharing kindness & growing HOPE. Walls are broken down, relationships built.

A1: It would start with being available to answer questions at any time. This includes stop what I'm doing, look at them while they talk, NOT talking myself & NOT planning my response before I've heard them out.
Sounds simple, but some people struggle with this.

A2. Being open and giving grace when mistakes are made. Perception is reality. #BuildHOPEedu
Welcome to tonight's #BuildHOPEedu chat!
Let us celebrate Mom's everywhere by talking about Love, HOPE & Support with Heart!
Please introduce yourself, tell us where you're from, what you do, and share with us a favourite mom memory.
A4. As a professional, you have to do your homework and collect the right Intel on your students. We must know who they consider their guardian and appreciate them. #BuildHOPEedu
