If in Australia, my Telstra plan is changing over. Telstra keep leaving messages with my name, number, and the 1800 number to call to organise this transition.
I always ring Telstra on the website number, to be safe.
They verified this is a scam! So be careful it was very smooth.

Reason I wanted to warn: the scammers used the recorded Telstra voice and exact voicemail format Telstra have used in the past. I think this scam will catch a LOT of people.

We don’t want to see another iconic Australian company go the way of Qantas. I’m thinking of all the people and families who are impacted by these job cuts at Telstra.
