Watching a more persistent severe thunderstorm approaching from the southwest. Current threats are quarter size hail and 60 mph but the storm has more rotation associated with it compared to the other cells in the area. This storm should reach SW Fulton County shortly after 5 pm

Reminds me of the opening of the Nepperhan or Sawmill River in southwest Yonkers, truly a glimpse of the nascent Dutch world in the midst of a concrete jungle. It’s important to give folks the space to contemplate their past.

Likely one of the strongest tornadoes we’ve seen in years just occurred in the dark, remote plains of southwest Oklahoma. Thankfully in mostly rural areas, but it’s likely some people / animals were effected.
