Bottom line for me re Buck: he had a plan but needed to be ready to adjust on the fly, have Robertson ready when he saw trouble brewing w/Walker in 8th. Much better chance of Robertson escaping that 8th inning mess than Brigham. Gotta get to the 9th.

Brett Batty put the loss on himself. Said that play needed to be made and he didn’t make it, which cost the Mets the game, the series and any momentum they had from yesterday’s win.

It wasn’t all on Baty, but he was very accountable for a rookie.
