Time in unpack some Merkle Trees....

I recently read an article on Uber's new LedgerStore database. Some observations:

- Uber's LedgerStore database is 'verifiably immutable' [1] (probably via merkle hashing is my guess). Big tech is productionizing useful features from crypto!
- Uber holds 1000x more data (1.2PB

It's been really hard for me to not get too excited by this project and spill the beans.

NOMT will remove the Merkle Trie bottleneck from blockchain systems, and enable us to scale way, way higher.
