A hearing dog might accompany their partner on public transport, so it's important they are relaxed with the experience.

Orbit did brilliantly and will build on this journey with another one soon.

Cocker spaniel Alfie has been to a supermarket as part of his training 🛒

Alfie has been learning to ignore all the interesting and tasty items on the shelves, as well as getting used to trolleys and being around large numbers of people.

Verity is a very clever cocker spaniel, who has recently passed her assessment to be a life-changing hearing dog

Cocker spaniel Chip has made a fab start to his training and raced through the first stage 😁

Chip is now learning how to settle nicely as this will prepare him for training in public places once he gets older.

Congratulations to Orbit, who has passed the second stage of his hearing dog training - the Puppy 2 Star! 🌟🌟

Orbit will now focus on training in shops and supermarkets, practising settling in cafes, and also getting used to travelling on public transport.

Gerry travelled on public transport a number of times during his training, and it's lovely seeing how comfortable he is with the experience 👏🐶
