HISD will be closed for Eid. April 10th is Eid. Considering there are over 90,000 Muslim people in Harris County, I would think HISD would use this as an opportunity to show support for the diverse religious communities we have in our district.

If you can possibly help it, don’t let anybody near your students who doesn’t care about them.

Your students deserve to be in the company of adults who honor & respect them, as intellectuals and as humans. Protect them, fiercely.
