So, I'm sick, so I emailed Rishi Sunak and Mel Stride listing my symptoms and asking for their opinion on whether I'm sick enough to have a day off work.

PIP has nothing to do with employment.

PIP is for moderate to severe disability and is v difficult to qualify for.

Noone gets PIP 'for' depression or anxiety. It is based on a functional analysis.

Stop playing smoke and mirrors with people's lives.

Mel Stride claiming people are getting PIP when all they need is a handrail fitted in their bath. I've news for him if that was all they needed they wouldn't even qualify for PIP. The day this self-serving, useless and nasty government is gone can't come soon enough.

This is very unusual. Here we have Tory MP Stephen McPartland asking for more compassion and worrying that 2.6 million people will be absolutely terrified at hearing the govt's welfare proposals.
