A recent World Bank report estimated that the cost of the health damage caused by air pollution amounts to $8 trillion a year, equivalent to 6.1% of global GDP.

More than 46 million people in the Horn of Africa are facing crisis levels of food insecurity due to consecutive years of climate-induced droughts.

We must put human rights at the centre of all our development efforts.

And in the defence of human rights, we must support women & girls from marginalized communities at the frontlines.
