Workers at Disneyland just won a union. They call themselves Magic United.

1,700 character and parade workers spend long days in difficult conditions, get repeated injuries, and face attacks by guests.

Now they'll work together for better conditions with Actors' Equity.

Each year, #NYSUTRA delegates pass resolutions that address issues vital to our progress.

This year, delegates adopted 2 with topics including the promotion of the Equal Rights Amendment, preventing book banning, ending child poverty and much more. nysut.org/news/2024/may/…

This May, we celebrate Jewish American Heritage Month! We continue to celebrate the contributions and experiences of Jewish Americans throughout our nation’s history as we strive to push back against antisemitism and hate.
