This is already translating in the first exo tonight. Great players around her who can 1. Catch the pass clean; 2. Finish off her passes.

Tonight’s Blue Jays game is a slow moving horror show. The kind of game where moves get announced the next morning.

Apologies!

Our App is incorrectly showing that every preseason game (including CHI vs MIN) is available on League Pass. But you *can* watch IND vs DAL tonight at 8pm ET in a FREE preview of WNBA League Pass on the WNBA App. Also streaming free on the app will be the Canada Game…

All of these moves are progress.

Something else that is always a sign of progress: Better programming windows for a sport. So ABC vs. ESPN. ESPN over ESPN2. Primetime over 6PM. Etc....

All trends heading in that direction here.

St. John’s, Newfoundland.

Beautiful service for Bob Cole. Tributes from grandchildren, children and Ron MacLean.

Shoutout to @quickstat (producing Game 7 in Boston) and Ron Forsythe (directing tonight in Nashville), who would have been here if they could.

Wanted to re-up this friendly piece of advice as we get close to graduations.

Below is me from Athens. My kids think this is cool.

It is estimated that roughly 120,000 mint juleps are sold annually at the Kentucky Derby.

But did you know some of the most well-known juleps were made by Black bartenders, particularly in Virginia in the 1820s?

This is nearly 1/10 of the country and it's undoubtedly undercounted with out-of-home viewership.

The NHL Canadian TV media contract is an albatross. This is why if TOR ever advanced deep, it would be legit game-changing $$$ for Rogers within the framework of the deal.

Filled in for John Shannon on Bob McCown podcast. We brought on Adnan Virk to talk whether the Toronto Maple Leafs can come all the way back, why the Toronto Blue Jays can't hit, and a shoutout to Canada for allowing dual citizenship.

For me: Tim Layden is the greatest horse racing writer of his generation. At Sports Illustrated, he was as terrific a colleague as you could ever have.

Below, he narrates and write this piece on Derby 150:

I want to thank everyone for their kind words and support. I am humbled. Patrick Beverley just called me and apologized. I appreciate it and accept it. The Bucks also reached out to apologize. I've been in news for over 40 years and kindness and grace always win.
