Serious people used to say this was impossible, and if it was possible it would be eye-wateringly expensive. Looks like they were wrong. businessgreen.com/news-analysis/… BG+

If boycotts don't work, why do supporters of Israel's massacre of Palestinians absolutely lose their mind over them?

Have been buying Neil’s wonderful drawings of Eurovision for the past three years. Absolutely gutted he won’t be drawing this year, but support him fully in taking a stand against Israel’s inclusion ✊

5 years ago, a plurality of working age people voted for Labour instead of the Tories. The Labour party lost that election in 2019 because the vast majority of pensioners voted Conservative. The way this person goes on about it and has reacted since you’d think Labour got 0 votes

In the 24 hours since Natalie Elphicke's defection we've had Labour MPs briefing against the leader's office, the leader's office briefing against Labour MPs, and now the leader's office briefing against itself.

Not entirely convinced this was thought through

Understanding why Starmer happily accepted Elphicke's defection means getting to grip with his political project - the modernisation of the state by and for elites.

Natalie Elphicke's neighbouring constituency Labour party issues a statement saying they are 'shocked and appalled' by the admission of such a 'toxic and divisive' figure into their party, and urge Labour members in Dover to apply for her membership to be rejected.

Did you know @UCL has locked the public and journalists out of its campus to isolate the student Gaza solidarity encampment?

I was refused entry yesterday. Why isn't this this a bigger story? Indefensible.

Join us tomorrow to hear Shamus Khan in conversation with Mike Savage 🎟️

Shamus will centre within the studies of the super-rich, arguing that the approach transforms what we see and find when looking at the social world.

This is just blatantly false and every affiliated trade union knows it. They are deliberately using vague language and removing references to a whole host of previous commitments.
