Memories of this day in 1995. This was all I could see that day! There was a post right in front of my seat which obscured my view of the other penalty area.

Anyone else think City’s success over the past decade is like celebrating a goal with VAR? Just waiting for it to be verified or ruled out.

19th May 2013, Sir Alex Ferguson took charge of a Manchester United side for the very last time. An incredible 5-5 draw with West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns. Exactly 1500 games, winning 895 drawing 338 and losing 267. Picking up 38 trophies along the way.

19th May 2007, I was excited to be making my first trip to the new Wembley for the FA Cup Final. We lost a poor game 1-0. I’ve never really taken to the new stadium. I find the soullessness of it heartbreaking in comparison to the days I’d experienced at the old stadium.

19th May 2018, I was at Wembley for one of worst finals I’ve ever seen. I think Chelsea won it with their only shot on goal, a Hazard Penalty gifted to them by Phil Jones. We never offered much in reply. Atmosphere was poor. Not one for the memory bank.

He played for both. Andy Ritchie was a product of United’s youth system making his debut in 1977. A fan favourite, he was however offloaded in favour of Garry Birtles by Dave Sexton in 1980, joining today’s opponents Brighton and Hove Albion.

At the Posh today watching a mate play in a charity match. Blimey, people complain about the leg room at Old Trafford. 😂
