I’d try and be less political and noisy if the NHS and seniors didn’t keep giving so much material to be opinionated about.

Sorry but not engaging so I’m not seen as a “trouble maker” in a future interview is simply out of my moral compass. Cannot currently sit and watch.

PAs do have a role. To allow junior drs to be drs. No trainee should be stuck on the ward just doing admin. More so in medicine, IMTs should be leading a ward round jn the am and doing clinic in the pm and the PAs should be doing the jobs and knowing where to contact a senior.

We need to get better at this. We need to pick up these subtle metabolic changes that are leading to sarcopenia. No other cancer would describe these as “early”. They occur before diagnosis cos we diagnose too late!

PDAC is one hell of a thing to conquer, but we will get there!

It’s cos we’re finally having open and honest discussions, where we are allowed to disagree, which we have every day in coffee rooms, messes and offices instead of gaslighting and popularism.

U.K. medical practice has gone mad. We are the laughing stock to the rest of the world. There are SCPs doing laparoscopic cholecystectomy’s despite trainees struggling for numbers and AUGIS initiatives on safe cholecystectomy due to a climbing BDI rate. 1/2

On my way for an important meeting at a top West London medical school (👀), then teaching CCrISP at the college, then meeting my friends at the Vauxhall Tavern for a wild night out!

What a way to spend a bank holiday weekend 😁
