@thronebathrooms don’t require construction, run on solar, are safe + clean and are more affordable compared to traditional solutions.

We know that nearly 95% of Metro riders (and growing) have cell phones.

The restrooms are also compatible with the no-cost Lifeline cell phone program.

Each @thronebathrooms unit is portable, ADA accessible, touchless & has flush toilet, sink w/ running water + robust ventilation.

The toilets are free & can be unlocked via QR code or by SMS text message with cell phone (flip or smartphone).

We've partnered with @thronebathrooms on this pilot -- which launched last fall with restrooms at 4 stations:

Norwalk
Westlake/MacArthur Park
Willowbrook/Rosa Parks (pic below)
Sylmar/San Fernando Metrolink station (for bus operators)

The new locations have already served 400 customers during our soft-launch the past week - which tells us they're useful + easy-to-use.

Next month, we're adding 2 more @thronebathrooms. We'll share those soon.

That means we'll have restrooms at a dozen stations.
