I was starving & about to go home for some lunch when Mr LP turned up like a knight in shining armour... with lunch!🥰
Now I'm having a picnic on the grass, watching dragonflies in the pond, bees going in and out of foxgloves & birds having an afternoon splash in the bird bath💚

Just put some straw in my strawberry bed 🍓🍓🍓
Once the fruit is set, I will cover it with a net because I can already hear the pigeons talk about how they will enjoy their strawberries and cream 🙄😂😂

My freebie greenhouse no. 1 is now 20 years old😍
I put up a 'wanted' ad on Gumtree in 2016 🥰
Someone replied 10 minutes later,
we brought 2 crates of beer, dismantled it with the owners, then took it to the plot😊
The real workhorse of my allotment, it never stands empty💚

This glorious foxglove is now over 6 ft tall, and it always blows my mind that you can cultivate such a beautiful plant, just from one tiny seed 🩷
I sowed it on Summer Solstice last year, planted out in September 🌱
I will collect its seeds and repeat it again next month 🥰

I'm mixing black, red, orange, and yellow varieties in each basket so they will look like a rainbow of tomatoes when they're tumbling down 😍
