On the weekend of 3-6 May 2024 a delegation from Leeds for Europe visited Leeds's twin city of Dortmund, Germany to promote friendship between our two cities and to show that people in the UK still value the shared European vision of peace, freedom and co-operation. 🇩🇪🇬🇧🇪🇺

We were delighted to mark this 30th anniversary in our own small way by travelling through the Channel Tunnel today on our way back from our visit to Leeds’s twin city of Dortmund!

Leeds for Europe are in Dortmund extending the hand of friendship to our twin city. We have met the Deputy Mayor, Barbara Brunsing, in the Civic Hall and met local citizens at a meeting of the Dortmund Anglo German Society. Today a street stall in Hansaplatz. Great trip! 🇬🇧🇪🇺🇩🇪

Hello from Dortmund. Leeds for Europe are having an amazing weekend in our German twin city, taking part in the city’s “Dortbunt” festival. We have made so many great international connections and explained to visitors to our stall the wish of the British people to rejoin the EU.
