Today's the 1 yr anniversary of Los Angeles County's #homelessness emergency proclamation. The motion Lindsey P. Horvath & I introduced has helped #LACounty implement a more urgent coordinated response. Results from our 1st year are encouraging but we still have a lot of work ahead.
Had the pleasure of recognizing & honoring the brave first responders who saved lives during a #LaCrescenta house fire last month. A big thank you to the LASD CrescentaValley deputies & L.A. County Fire Department firefighters & paramedics who put themselves in harms way to keep their community safe.
