This translation of an extract of the Promised Messiah (as), published in the 1922 issue of The Muslim Sunrise really struck me when I first read it years ago. It provides even deeper insight into the bai'at (Bay'ah) that Ahmadis eagerly offer each year.

A reminder: this is the 50th year of the continuing persecution of Ahmadis in Pakistan. All Pakistanis who want to undo this injustice must speak up the little they can to condemn the 2nd Amendment which is a blot on the name of our homeland. I am looking at you in the diaspora
