My family & i were just in the car on the way back to our apartment in Cairo. My daughters spotted several aid trucks with big Palestinian flags. My youngest asked “are they going to Gaza?”. My wife said yes. In a sad voice she said “i wish I could hide in one & enter Gaza” 💔

The fact this man is still in a position of an educator while the students he slanders are being suspended, dragged off campus by cops & thrown into jail, is all you need to know about Columbia & and the decision-making processes there.

I would hope that Columbia Faculty see their admin arresting their own students for peaceful protest as a red line. These students are in our care. Our primary responsibility as academics is to nurture their minds and protect them from oppression. Faculty must walk out now.
