My existence is not something shameful that should be whispered about. My trans existence, and the existence of trans young people, is both joyous and celebratory, and entirely boring and ordinary. I can say nothing else except that forcing shame onto innocent children is vile.

When I was a GP, I always wore something rainbow (badge, earrings, lanyard). Message to LGBTQ+ patient (whether out or not): you're safe with me. Banning rainbow-wearing means officially silencing minorities. Is opposite of common sense.
